Hi Greg. Your tutorial seems to be the best out at there at the moment for an absolute Zend beginner like me. I was just wondering whether you could help me with what code goes in what files and where. For example you don't specify a phtml file. Do I need one?

Thanks

Hi,

Very interesting!
Just read http://www.tetlaw.id.au/view/javascript/really-easy-field-validation
It would be great if your idea and the idea above could be combined to get the best of both worlds:
1) simple class based client-side validations and
2) robust (and possibly complex) server based validations; where all the validations are kept on the server

Cheers,
Zon

I tried it on ZF v1.0. It returns exception:

Uncaught exception 'Zend_Controller_Router_Exception' with message 'Route compat is not defined'

Can U fix it?
